About Frezio
Frezio is a Sydney-based, early-stage SaaS product that gives early-career job seekers a workspace of AI agents. The agents polish a candidate's online profile, tailor resumes, write cover letters, uplift LinkedIn, run interview practice and match candidates to fresh data roles. Frezio is an independent venture, originally incubated at TDAI, and is currently free while in early access.
Address: Sydney NSW, Australia
The role
Frezio is an early-access SaaS product and needs a group of interns who can sit across three areas: product and SaaS analytics, the resume and job description matching algorithm, and data and AI engineering. This is a group internship: you will work in a small team on shared projects, help the team understand how users move through the product, improve the quality of the AI-generated output, and build and automate the data and AI workflows that power the agents.
What you will do
- Analyse user acquisition and activation: where new users come from and how many reach their first meaningful action.
- Track core feature usage across the agents (profile glow-up, resume builder, cover letter, LinkedIn uplift, interview prep, data job matcher).
- Measure output quality and trust: how often users accept, edit, regenerate or discard AI-generated output.
- Build retention and cohort views to show how user groups behave over time.
- Report on unit economics and system health, including cost per user, API and model spend, latency and error rates.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that bring the product metrics above into one view for the founding team.
- Improve the resume and job description matching algorithm: text parsing, NLP techniques, scoring logic and prompt design.
- Design, test and refine prompts and LLM workflows so agent output is accurate, consistent and useful.
- Build and maintain Python scripts, API integrations and automation that feed the agents and the analytics layer.
- Contribute to agentic AI workflows, including how agents share context and hand work to each other.
- Automate data collection, alerts and hand-offs between tools using Make.com, Zapier or n8n.
- Document findings and present recommendations clearly to the founding team.
- Work as part of a team on shared projects: agree scope, split the work, review each other's output and present together.
Focus areas
- Product / SaaS analytics: acquisition and activation, core feature usage, output quality and trust, retention and cohort, unit economics and system health, Power BI dashboards.
- Resume + JD matching algorithm: prompt engineering, text parsing, NLP, scoring techniques, LLM and AI workflow.
- Data & AI engineering: APIs, Python, agentic AI, automation (Make.com, Zapier or n8n), prompt engineering.
- Team projects: each intern contributes to at least one shared project across the areas above.
Requirements
Essential
- Comfortable working with messy, real-world product and text data.
- Able to define, calculate and explain product metrics such as activation, retention and cohort behaviour.
- Working knowledge of how large language models and prompts behave, and an interest in improving their output.
- Able to write clean, readable Python and work with APIs.
- Able to build clear, well-structured dashboards in Power BI.
- Clear written communication and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
- Curious, self-directed and comfortable in a small, fast-moving early-stage team.
- Comfortable collaborating in a team, sharing work in progress and giving and receiving feedback.
