PRIVACY POLICY

Your data, handled with care.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Frezio ("Frezio", "we", "us", "our") is operated in Sydney, Australia (ABN 54 663 510 709 · ACN 663 510 709). We take the privacy of early-career job seekers seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to anyone who visits frezio.au, creates a Frezio account, or otherwise uses our AI agents and services.

2. What we collect

We only collect information reasonably necessary to run the Frezio agents. This typically includes:

  • Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see it in plain text).
  • Profile and career information: the content you enter during onboarding — including target roles, locations, work eligibility / visa status, education, skills, and experience.
  • Documents you upload: your resume, cover letter drafts, LinkedIn URL, GitHub URL, portfolio URL, and any other assets you choose to share so an agent can work on them.
  • Agent output: tailored resumes, cover letters, interview practice sessions, LinkedIn suggestions and job matches generated for you.
  • Usage information: device and browser type, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, and diagnostic logs — used to keep the service reliable and improve it.
  • Feedback: ratings, comments or messages you send us.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act (such as health, racial or religious information). Please don't include such details in your uploads.

3. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you sign up, complete onboarding, upload documents, run an agent, or contact us. Some technical information (like your device type and pages viewed) is collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you use the site.

4. Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • Provide the Frezio agents — tailoring resumes, drafting cover letters, generating interview prep, uplifting LinkedIn profiles, matching you to jobs, etc.
  • Authenticate you and secure your account.
  • Send transactional messages (sign-in confirmations, password resets, product updates that materially affect your account).
  • Improve the product — measure which agents help, fix bugs, and design new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded documents to train third-party AI models on your identifiable data.

5. AI processing and third-party subprocessors

Frezio uses trusted third-party services to run the platform and its AI agents. When an agent runs, the relevant portions of your input (for example, your resume text and the job description) are sent to a large language model provider so it can generate the tailored output. These providers act as our processors and are contractually bound to handle the data only for the purpose of delivering the requested output.

Current categories of subprocessors include:

  • Hosting & infrastructure: cloud hosting, database, storage and edge computing providers.
  • AI model providers: commercial large language model APIs used to generate agent output.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics (aggregated usage metrics only).
  • Email delivery: transactional email providers for account-related messages.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your information consistently with the APPs.

6. Disclosure

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except:

  • To the subprocessors described above, strictly to deliver the service to you;
  • Where you have asked us to (for example, sharing an output link you generated);
  • Where required or authorised by Australian law, a court order, or a regulator; or
  • In the event of a business sale or restructure, in which case the acquirer will be bound by this policy or an equivalent one.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session, plus Google Analytics to understand aggregated usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not function correctly.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of data at rest by our infrastructure provider, hashed passwords, row-level access controls on our database, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk. If we ever suffer an eligible data breach we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and notify affected users and the OAIC as required.

9. Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as you have an active account, plus a reasonable period after that for legal, tax and audit purposes. You can delete your account at any time (see below), which triggers deletion or de-identification of your personal information from our active systems within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.

10. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete;
  • Ask us to delete your account and associated data;
  • Opt out of non-essential communications;
  • Make a privacy complaint (see below).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@frezio.au. We aim to respond within 30 days.

11. Children

Frezio is designed for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first at info@frezio.au so we can investigate and try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the product.
